We review

We read every application personally and reply directly. We may ask a few questions to find the best fit.

Pay your deposit

Approved students receive an email with secure payment instructions. Pay your deposit within 24 hours to lock in your room.

You are in

Once your deposit is paid, your room is yours. We send check-in details and welcome information.

Applying as a couple?

If you and your partner want a couple room with a queen bed, please email us directly instead of using the online form — couple rooms are limited and we want to confirm availability with you first. See our FAQ for more on how couple rooms work.

After you submit, you will receive an automatic confirmation email. We will then review your application and reply to you personally with next steps.

Note for the site owner: This form uses the same FormSubmit setup as the Contact page — once you have verified the form (by clicking the verification link from your first submission), applications will arrive in your inbox at northmyrtlehousing@gmail.com with the subject "New J1 Application from website." Each applicant also gets an automatic confirmation email.

To handle the deposit: When you approve an application, reply to the student with a Stripe Payment Link for the correct deposit amount ($250 for standard 12-week stays, higher for shorter stays). Create reusable Payment Links in your Stripe dashboard (free to set up at stripe.com — takes about 30 minutes). You can include Zelle or Cash App as a backup option in your approval email.
